Melanie's Bridal Session | M. Clay Photography

Last month, I did my last bridal session of 2012.  I met with Melanie and her beautiful mother to do her bridal session.  Melanie & David tied the knot this past weekend so I can finally show some of the images from her bridal.  Needless to say….she was an absolutely gorgeous bride.  Look for the blog post from the wedding in a couple of weeks.

This was the image she had enlarged and displayed at the reception…

This is my favorite image from the entire session.  So here’s my confession….I can’t ever resist shooting against red walls 🙂

Columbia, SC Wedding {Stacie + Zobon}

I’ve been busy trying to build some momentum in working out and staying in shape over the winter months and organizing all of the pics I’ve taken of my daughter.  So it’s been a whole month since I’ve posted anything new to the blog.  Last month we traveled down to Columbia, SC for Stacie & Zobon’s wedding.  Stacie & Zobon both are two of the most easy-going and laid back people.  I knew from their engagement session what a pleasure it would be to work with them.  Stacie was an absolute stunning bride !!  This is the 3rd wedding I’ve shot which incorporated African traditions at the reception and that is always so much fun to shoot.  The beautiful garments & fabrics, the dancing, and the grand march.  Here are some photos from their beautiful day.

Nothing spectacular about this image…just a typical of the groom’s having fun. However, this particular photo is so funny to me because you just have to know Zobon to realize how out of character this is for him. We pretty much had to twist his arm to get the shades on him for this shot 🙂

And here are some images captured from Stacie’s bridal session several months ago…

Love the triple reflection on this one…

These are the 2 large prints she had displayed at the reception:
