Month: June, 2013
Yesterday, we posted Danielle & Kermit’s Destination wedding in St. Lucia. We took the opportunity to do a casual day after session the following morning. On wedding day, things can get hectic trying to adhere to schedules & timelines and a day after session gives me the opportunity to take my time, be creative, and work with my couples in a more relaxed setting….same as an engagement session. It was also great to be able to utilize some different scenery and because of the time of day we were shooting, I was also able to capture the more saturated colors of the water and sky.

Last month, we had the unique pleasure to travel to St. Lucia to document Danielle & Kermit’s beautiful wedding. They were joined by a small group of close friends and family. Everything was absolutely perfect….the weather, the bridal party, the families. We had an awesome time and this definitely one of the highlights of the year to be able to shoot a wedding in an amazing location, then get some time to personally enjoy the amenities. Danielle had so many little details planned and I loved the fact that she had a few little surprises for her new husband (who happens to be one of the biggest Carolina Panther fans you’ll ever meet). One last little surprise….to take full advantage of such a different and tropical location, we did a quick day after session the next morning. I’ll blog those pics tomorrow. Here are some shots from their wedding experience. You can also check out their day after session.
